Mini Goal Met!

Today was my first official weigh in for my lifestyle changes. I have dropped 4 pounds since starting on 3/17/11.

It feels good. I know the end result isn't about the number on the scale. Or even the number on my jeans- its about me and the way I feel about myself- but damn it is rewarding to see that scale move back down.

11 more until my goal weight!


And in case you were wondering, I have been hitting the gym no less than 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes of cardio (I have been doing 35 lately though) and I have been doing the P90X Ab Ripper X twice a week. I know I need to add in more strength building, but for right now I am happy as a clam!

I have also been using SparkPeople.com to track my exercise and my calorie intake. I am trying to do no more than 1500 a day. So far so good!
